About me:
20 years of dance music baby!! I have been into music since I was a little kid who was able to ride his bike to the record store and buy 12" and 45's. There went my weekend allowance. I remember being 15, djing at the local roller rink. When I turned 21 I was able to get into the bars and check the different scenes and style of music. Boy, it sure is overwhelming. When I came out my friend took me to my first gay dance club. The music was so HOT. It was soo much different than hearing music in the straight clubs. I loved it and found even a bigger passion for djing. My first bar was Manuevers in Joliet, my hometown. The Edge hired me for their grand opening back in the 90's. I worked Tuesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. That was fun but I wanted something more by Chicago. So I moved to Forest Park, IL. Just about 10 minutes outside of city limits. There I held a residency at Hideaway Night Club for 10 years on Thursdays and Fridays. Other venues in the area include Temptations and Escapades. Right now I've been enoying my weekends free for the time being. Im back in Joliet and me and my buddy are working the bars in the area. |
